Johnnie loved "Old Master" paintings and style.  She painted many excellent and outstanding copies of various Old Master artists, not only for the enjoyment but for the learning opportunities the process provided.

She had the opportunity to visit most of the well known art museum/galleries in Europe to view these paintings and take notes and photos so that she could, then, paint the associated copies with as much realism as possible.

All of the paintings are, of course, out of copyright and Johnnie was careful NOT to sign her name on them.  This would be illegal and viewed as forgery; however, it would be, for instance, legal for her to sign her name as the artist, followed by the words:  AFTER J.W. Waterhouse.

All paintings will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity to confirm their origin.
